Zowie established her studio in 2023, with a focus on natural colour and interior furnishings. Her bespoke hand dyed fabrics, are expertly crafted using plant based dyes which are created in her studio.

Natural colours possess an aesthetic quality which cannot be attained through synthetic dyes. The process can also be slightly unpredictable - resulting in unique outcomes each and every time. This can be due to variations in plant species, season and many other variables, however it is not viewed as a negative, and these discrepancies are to be embraced as part of the organic nature of the dyes.

Natural dyes are biodegradable, non toxic and non allergenic, making them a perfect choice for interior furnishings. They have the ability to create a calming and restorative environment and the omission of harsh chemicals also makes them much kinder to the skin compared to synthetic dyes.

Zowie creates her refreshing and unique interior furnishings from her studio in Cornwall alongside running creative workshops within her local community.
